Tot Shabbat Chanukkah Service – Saturday, Dec. 1, 10am
Join us for a fun service, including interactive story and crafts, for families with children up to the age of 8. Great way for toddlers, pre-schoolers and kids in younger grades to learn about Chanukah and get excited about the holiday. Everyone will make their own clay Hanukkah menorah.

Community-Wide Chanukkah Party/Chanukkiah Contest/Mitzvah Mall – Sunday Dec. 9, 10:30-12:30pm

The Chanukkiah Contest (see below for details) and part of our Mitzvah Mall will be in the sanctuary. Please bring money to support all our charities. See the link below for list of Mitzvah Mall charities. Money raised from the Chanukkiah Contest will be sent for relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy.
Chanukkiah Contest: We want to see who can come up with the most creative, out-of-this-world, crazy, unique, beautiful, impressive, cute (any one of these adjectives will do) menorah.
They are due at Temple Shalom Emeth, 16 Lexington St., Burlington by Friday evening, Dec. 7th. They will be displayed in the sanctuary during the temple’s community Chanukah party on Sunday, Dec. 9th and posted on our Facebook page.
All money raised from people voting for your chanukiah will help the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Whatever you create will be a valuable family heirloom for years to come!

Community Chanukkah Family Worship Service – Friday, Dec. 14, 7:30pm
Celebrate Chanukkah during our annual service of celebration. This year’s service will be conducted by our 4th graders. Special skit based on Rabbi Abramson’s book, Rabbi Rocketpower and the Mystery of the Missing Menorahs.
